Peter WATERS Obituary

WATERS, Peter Douglas. (N Z Fire Service Gold Star). Unexpectedly in Whangamata (after a courageous battle with Parkinsons and cancer), on 19th December 2018; aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband for the past 50 years of Shona, much loved Dad of Gregory, Craig, Glenn, Jonathan, father-in-law of Tonya, Alayna and Linda. Devoted Poppa of Jack, Van, Douglas, Xavier, Edward, and the late Ashton. Much loved brother of Pauline, Roger, and Ann. A dedicated member of the Whangamata Volunteer Fire Brigade for 42 years. Peter loved the Whangamata Community and gave his time tirelessly on many community projects. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at the Whangamata Fire Station, Port Road, Whangamata, on Sunday 23rd December, at 12 noon, followed by private cremation.
